The "Segni" EP By All Tiny Creatures (Zod.34) is officially released and is the newest studio project turned live band from Thomas Wincek (previously known as Emotional Joystick). The band is a proper four piece featuring Thomas on Rhodes Piano, drum kit and percussion by Ben Derickson (aka Curtis Chip), Bass Guitar and Piano by Matthew Skemp and guitar and misc. electronics by Andrew Fitzpatrick. The EP is instrumental and draws influence from a variety of sources ranging from Steve Reich to Neu. The theme of the music is to utilize contemporary classical ideology in song writing technique and execute performance in a "rock band" setting. The results have been sensational and extremely original both in the recording studio and on stage. Thomas got lucky and the 4 piece ensemble that has been assembled works together beautifully on stage with a mixture of traditional band arrangements, improvisation, live sample looping, and live audio processing.
